What a day it was, we had about 35 students attend our Braai Function. It was lovely to see our students encouraging others through the word of God. It was heart warming to hear other students speaking about their experience and growth within our communes. What is most touching for us, is whenever a student thanks us for our Intervention in their lives !

Richard’s mum and dad (89yrs) were present and could only stay a short while due to tiredness. Peter Rasmussen (the big guy), heads up 22 Churches, National and International and gave a short preach and encouraged the students to be used for big things to come. The weather was great.

Ingrid gave a preach on reaching out for Jesus. Richard Gave a summary of what we are doing this year with our students in advance of last year and where we are going in the future with our Student Accommodation in Durban. Richard also announced the formation of the RIAM FOUNDATION which is aimed at working people who really want to learn the Internet and come into our online under level Team.

The highlight of the day for Richard, was the final dance where many of the Lake View commune joined into a unified dance team. This revealed an amazing unity and strength within the Lakeview commune. The day ended with eating, random dancing gigs, selfies and a lot of showing off !
